Houston Ozone Odor Removal
Ozone treatments are especially effective on: offices, hotels, houses, apartments, seminar rooms, restaurants, boats, automobiles, RV's and other areas that need treatment.
Bacteria, mold, and viruses grow quickly over time. Shampoo and fragrant sprays are often ineffective at completely eliminating odors and bacteria. Many bacteria-killing chemicals can have harmful effects.
Our process fills the entire room with the optimal level of ozone and reaches all areas, including air ducts, fabrics, furniture, carpeting and other hard to reach places.

What is Ozone and how does it work?
Ozone (03) is a naturally occurring substance found in nature that we cannot live without. Ozone is an activated form of oxygen (02) with three atoms where regular oxygen has two. Ozone in the upper atmosphere filters out harmful rays from the sun without which all life on earth would cease to exist. Closer to home ozone is produced by lightning in thunderstorms and also by ultra-violet light from the sun. I¹m sure you have experienced the freshness in the air after a storm. Ozone is very unstable and has an average half life of 20 minutes, this is why ozone must be produced at the point of use and cannot be stored in a container for later use. Ozone will cast off its third atom onto any other organic element thereby oxidizing it or converting it to another substance. In the case of odors it will convert a foul-smelling substance into a non-odorous substance naturally with no unhealthy chemicals to buy, store or use. Once ozone has done its job it converts back to oxygen. Ozone will also deactivate and destroy molds, bacteria, virus, fungus, and mildew.
In short, if there is anything on the planet that can get a foul odor out of your vehicle, it's our ozone Treatment
Houston Ozone Odor Removal
FAQ :
Will the odor come back ?
No. If ozone is applied properly it destroys (oxidizes) the source of the odor. However, the original source of the odor MUST be eliminated, whether it is a pet issue, smoke, mildew or other existing contaminant. The initial odor source should be addressed prior to considering utilizing an Ozone treatment.
How does ozone handle tobacco smoke odor ?
It eliminates the irritation caused by phenol gasses, by oxidizing them. Phenol gasses are the invisible part of tobacco smoke that causes such discomfort to one’s eyes and create the offensive odors. Ozone rids any environment of the effects of smoke completely, rather than merely filtering out the visible particles.
Will ozone remove stains and nicotine build up ?
No, ozone will not remove the stains. Ozone will deodorize and help to decontaminate the problem but will not remove the actual substance.
Will ozone affect electronics or fabrics ?
No, ozone will not affect personal electronics or fabrics . The concentrations are not high enough even during shock treatments for long periods ( over 30 days) of time.
Are Ozone Generators Air Filters?
Ozone machines are not air filters. There is nothing in the machine that is going to filter out particles. Ozone generators produce ozone which then oxidize particles. They are advertised as purifiers and home air filters because that is what the consumer is used to hearing.
What is the right level of ozone ?
The right level is when all the generated ozone is being consumed. This only applies to continuous ozone use in occupied environments – not for shock treating. However, this is difficult to attain because it becomes a balancing act. Initially the machine’s output is set high to get rid of the problem odor as quickly as possible. As this is being accomplished less ozone is required for the diminishing odor etc., thereby leaving some residual ozone in the air. If the machine output is not turned down, then more residual ozone will remain. If a strong smell of ozone is noticed, then there is more ozone present than is required. Simply turn the rheostat (output level control) down. With ozone, more is not considered better.
NOTE: It is not necessary that ozone be detected by humans for it to be effective. Ozone can work even when humans are not able to smell it.
Is ozone harmful and what if any are the long term effects?
Ozone has been known for almost a century, so a great deal is known about it. Several regulatory agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), have stipulated that the safe allowable level of residual is 0.10-ppm (parts per million). Note that this permissible level is for continuous exposure throughout an entire 8 hour day for 5 days a week. The temporary affects of such a low exposure would range from headaches, to sore throats, irritation in the eyes, and nose. No long term effects have ever been documented from ozone exposure. .
When Can I Re Enter My Home?
Ozone has a half life of one half hour or so . What that means is as soon as we shut the machines off the ozone starts to dissipate. In one half hour the ozone level in the home will be reduced by half. If you truly want to know when the home is low enough for entry there is an equation that can be done. The factors will be how much ozone was introduced and for how long. Also we would need to know the exact volume of the home. Because it is impossible to know exactly how much ozone due to humidity and machine differences we always tell customers to give it 12 hours. unless we treated with our ODORZX product then you should be able to go back in in mater of an hour
Will Ozone Remove Mothball Odors?
To answer the question based on experience, we would say no. If you know that all the mothballs are out of the home then yes ozone will help if not work completely. The problem comes when people say they are all out home and they actually they are not.
